Title:
The Holy Spirit in Glory with Angels Narrative 1
Narrative:

The Holy Spirit in Glory with Angels, 1578
Rafaelino De Reggio (artist, 1550–1578)

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is often referred to by metaphor and symbol, which are key to understanding the Holy Spirit and are not merely used for artistic representation. The image of the dove is used here to symbolise the Holy Spirit: when Christ comes up from the water of his baptism, the dove descends and  stays with him.
