Narrative:

Printmaking, through its reproducibility and affordability, allowed 15th-century artists to create and distribute works based on biblical or mythological subjects centred on a nude female figure. These depictions ranged from implicit to explicit eroticism and, as a result, the erotic print became a popular and significant 16th-century genre.
